About Having trained at the National Design Academy and the KLC I gained experience working at established design practices before setting up Gilly Henson Design in 2008. Working from a Design Studio located in Lincoln just off the famous historic Steep Hill (voted UK’s Finest Street 2012) I work closely with my clients to make their house into a comfortable and beautiful home. Each project is unique and tailored to the requirements of the individual. The same level of personal attention is paid to every project whether large or small. Offering a complete service managing your project from the initial design phase right through to the finishing touches. I am also the Interiors correspondant for the Journal magazine

Holding accounts with all the major fabric houses enables me to help you find exactly the look you want. I also stock unusual and inexpensive fabrics not readily available and a large range of trimmings. Lighting and furniture, mirrors, rugs and accessories sourced from high quality manufacturers to suit every budget. My excellent team of curtain makers offer quality bespoke curtains and blinds. Using the services of local top quality upholsterers I am able to make bespoke furniture, or recover client’s existing sofas and chairs. A measuring service is available and furniture for re-covering will be collected and re-delivered when completed.
